Tengu Shibari Munich

Tengu Shibari Munich is a well-rehearsed team consisting of the rigger Frank and his muse Felia.

Both have been learning the rope for over 11 years. After several workshops and associated detours, their path finally led them to Vienna to Vinciens - Kinbaku Studio Vienna, where they found their new home in Shibari and have been following the Osada Ryu Kyu system as its students ever since. Over the years, they have reached higher Kyu levels, but do not close themselves off to other views and styles, questioning curiously and daring to look in all directions. Further workshops and individual lessons with Kazami Ranki, Unkwown Rigger, RopEmotion and others followed. At private lessons in Tokyo and in exchange with Jyubei Kamui, Yagami Ren and especially Osada Steve Sensei, they deepened their understanding of traditional Kinbaku and modern views of Shibari and developed their own interpretation. With performances at various events in and around Munich, they follow the tradition of Osada Ryu, with Frank & Felia as Tengu Shibari Munich, their very own style, which is always based on communication and trust and is supported by mutual respect and love.
